Restrictions

Rights in exported videos

You keep any intellectual-property rights you have in original content you contribute. We grant you permission to use our proprietary scene elements as they appear in completed videos exported from the app, including for commercial purposes. This does not transfer ownership of the app, the editable scenes or the templates, and we cannot grant rights in material owned by third parties.

Third-party components

Some components are supplied under their own open-source licences, and their licence texts and notices are included in the licenses folder of the app. They include FFmpeg and espeak-ng (GNU GPL), the Kokoro voice model (Apache 2.0), ONNX Runtime and kokoro-onnx (MIT), cairo and pycairo (LGPL / MPL), NumPy and Pillow, and the Inter typeface (SIL Open Font Licence). Those licences govern those components and are not replaced or restricted by this Licence.

Updates and termination

Your purchase includes qualifying additional scenes released within 12 months of purchase; it does not promise a particular release schedule. We may offer bug fixes or updates, but do not promise compatibility with all future operating systems or external services. If you materially breach this Licence, we may end the proprietary licence, subject to applicable law and any required notice or chance to fix the breach. Open-source rights and non-excludable statutory rights are not affected.

Consumer guarantees

The software is subject to any applicable consumer guarantees. Nothing in this Licence excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
