Everyday Why is the business name used for Everyday Why Studio, based in Queensland, Australia. ABN: [ABN TO BE ADDED]. Privacy questions: everydaywhy@outlook.com.
When you join the waitlist, we receive the email address you submit. When you buy or ask for support, we may receive your name, email address, country, order details, your messages and information needed to help you. Our payment provider (merchant of record) processes payment data under its own terms and privacy notice; we do not receive full payment-card numbers.
To answer your requests, run the waitlist, deliver orders, provide software access and support, keep records and meet legal obligations. Promotional emails are sent only where permitted, and every one lets you opt out.
Videos, scripts, logos and other project files you create stay on your computer. The current version of the app sends no data to us: it has no telemetry, crash reporting or automatic update checks, and the narration voice is generated on your computer. When licence activation is added, the app will contact our payment provider to validate your key; we will update this notice before that version is released.
We use these providers, which may handle data outside Australia (mainly in the United States):
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.
Waitlist emails are kept until launch and for up to 12 months afterwards, or until you unsubscribe. Order and support records are kept for at least five years, as Australian tax record-keeping rules require. We take reasonable steps to protect information, although no online system is completely risk-free.
You can ask to access, correct or delete information we hold, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing everydaywhy@outlook.com. We handle each request under applicable law, including records we must keep.
